Pregnant Hollywood actress Jessica Alba - who is expecting her first child with fiance Cash Warren in June - is planning to take a break from her movie career after giving birth to her baby. Jessica Alba wants to enjoy motherhood and at some point she will pick up movie career as she would like to work with her future husband movie producer Cash.

In other Celebrity related news, Jessica Alba has revealed that she and fiance Cash Warren have set their wedding date. Their engagement shortly after they announced Jessica’s pregnancy last December and their baby is due in the early summer.

Jessica has admitted she always dreamt of motherhood. The 26-year-old actress confesses she is fulfilling a longtime wish. “I've always wanted to be a mother so it’s a dream comes true,” she says. “I’ve known since I was a little girl. I'm the oldest of 15 cousins. I've babysat them, changed diapers, fed them their bottles and burped them since I was about six.” The only things Jessica dislike about pregnancy is that she can’t enjoy a glass of wine. She says, “Sometimes I want a few glasses of wine. “'I get half a glass maybe once a week and I don't even like it. It tastes different. My taste buds are different. Jessica Alba has made a third place in the 'Sexiest Woman' in the World in FHM magazine's annual list. The future mom, who headlined last year’s poll, fell two positions in favor of ‘Transformers’ star Megan Fox and Jessica Biel, who reached the second spot. Elisha Cuthbert and Scarlett Johansson came in forth and five place, respectively.

"I'm getting married, yes," The Sun quoted Alba, as saying. But she stayed tight-lipped about the date. She also spoke about how thrilled she and Warren feel about their upcoming parenthood. "We're both really happy. It's such a miracle," the 27-year-old star added.

Jessica Alba is happy preparing for the arrival of her first child. The actress says she is currently quite active working in her house to be ready when her baby arrives. She told People magazine, "I'm just trying to get my house ready before the baby comes." I'm not WORKING so it's been a good place to put all my energy so it's been a nice distraction. "It's kind of hectic, it's getting close and the house isn't even ready yet." The 26-year-old star also confessed feeling sort of weird for not having to WORK. She said, "I'm used to having to be somewhere all the time, and it's kind of the first time in my life where I really haven't been WORKING in a while, and now it's just about the baby being healthy, the house being ready, and nesting, it's really different.




Biography

Jessica Marie Alba was born on April 28, 1981, in Pomona, California. The aspiring actress relocated with her family (her Spanish/Mexican-American father was in the Air Force) several times before finally settling down in southern California.

The Alba family moved to Biloxi, Mississippi, then back to California, followed by Del Rio, Texas, and finally back to the West Coast.

Despite constantly moving across the U.S., Jessica Alba knew she wanted to be an actress from the age of 5. Her career was ready to take off when an agent signed her a mere nine months after 12-year-old Jessica took an acting class.

Jessica Alba's first film role in the 1994 film Camp Nowhere came to her by chance. She was cast with a bit part in the film after one of the characters dropped out of the production. Dark-haired Jessica was cast as the replacement, thanks to the fact that her hair matched that of the original actress.

She then ventured into smaller projects on the small screen with commercials for Nintendo and JC Penney, and a recurring role in Nickelodeon's The Secret World of Alex Mack in 1994.

Following her Nickelodeon stint, Jessica Alba, also a PADI-certified scuba diver, was cast as Maya in the 1995 series Flipper. During production of Flipper, Jessica was actually kidnapped after having received telephone threats. Thankfully, she was found unharmed in the trunk of a car.

While working with dolphins on the television series, Jessica Alba was cast in the disastrous film Venus Rising, as well as the 1996 made-for-TV movie Too Soon for Jeff and an episode of Chicago Hope.
