My guess is that Eva Longoria found the very special dress to stand out at the Costume Institute’s “Superheroes: Fantasy and Fashion” Gala Monday night at NYC’s Metropolitan Museum of Art. Eva Longoria arrived alone on the red carpet, as her husband Tony Parker was tied up with his San Antonio Spurs, which means that her look turned more heads than usual.
Superheroes are about issues of the body, identity and transformation, about acting your fantasies and transforming yourself into anyone or anything you want to be. Those are all the things at the heart of fashion.
