The Pop Celebrity Kylie Minogue was in Paris France this last weekend at a press conference to endorse Spanish jewelry brand TOUS. Kylie was looking lovely for the cameras in an all-black ensemble and a big smile, probably from receiving earlier that day one of France’s top cultural awards being made a Chevalier dans l’ordre des Arts et Lettres (Knight of Arts nad Letters) for “the cultural pleasure she has given French people.”
When it comes to international superstars, few women can compete with the worldwide appeal of Kylie Minogue. And the “Locomotion” singer was in Paris France this past weekend getting ready for a world tour (the first gig is tomorrow in Paris).
French Culture Minister Christine Albanel announced, “Princess of pop, uncontested queen of the dance floors, you are a sort of Midas of the international music scene who turns everything she touches into gold, from records to micro-shorts. Even if it isn’t the part of your anatomy which is the most often praised by the media, you have a big heart.”
