Alicia Keys

What’s gorgeous, talented and generous?

Alicia Keys, that’s what.

The hotness that is Alicia Keys has recently announced she’ll be helping send four deserving students to college.

“We’re just looking for standout students who are definitely college-bound and need a little bit of help financially to really achieve their dreams,” Keys said.

The lucky kids will be the recipient of $5,000 scholarships through the Open Doors Scholars Program of Frum Tha Ground Up. But before you think that’s the name of another hip-hop group, Frum Tha Ground Up is actually a nonprofit organization founded by D.J. Walton, the Grammy-winning singer’s road manager.

There is, however, a catch to the scholarships: the winners will have to represent Frum Tha Ground Up at school appearances, as well as do community service every semester.

Still, community service and becoming the face for a non-profit organization sure beats working at the local Wal-Mart after high school, don’t you think?

This is a way better way for Keys to spend her millions. While other hip-hop and R n’ B stars think only of the bling, here’s one who’s actually trying to help people out.
