Cameron Diaz: Older & Wiser (Shape Magazine)

Super hot actress Cameron Diaz shares some secrets to keep her body in shape, to feel good with herself and getting old in the new issue of UK Shape Magazine.

On being in her 30s – “Everything gets easier when you get older. You have a lot more experience and enough restraint to rethink that impulse to behave a certain way, because you know where it’s going to end. You have a strategy of how to get to a happier place.”

On being wiser in relationships – “I think I finally know the way love works best. Basically, the most important thing it to really know yourself.”

On being single – “I love being alone – I love it! I’m good at it. But not in a weird way, not like leave me alone – it’s just I’m very comfortable by myself.”

Her secret to looking so good for her age – “I hike, snowboard and surf. I admit I do hire a personal trainer as well, but for me working out is a big part of keeping mind and body together.”

On her diet
– “I eat healthily but love my burgers, and if you put a bowel of French fries near me, then it’s over. Normally, though, I’ll have a half-order of something and save the leftovers. I’m queen of leftovers.”

Will she still be making movies in 10 years time? – “Whatever I’m doing, I just hope that I’m happy. It might be milking a cow that makes me happy!”

Cameron Steps Out with Aniston's Ex

Cameron Diaz capped off a weekend filled with dancing and flirting by having dinner with model Paul Sculfor who briefly dated Jennifer Aniston last year.

“They looked really flirty,” says a source of the pair’s dinner at Santa Monica’s Il Ristorante di Giorgio Baldi on Sunday night, “She was laughing really loud at all of his jokes. It looked like a date.”

After two hours, Diaz, 36, and Sculfor, 37, left the restaurant together. Though Sculfor attempted to open her door, his chivalrous move was foiled when they were approached by a waiting photographer. “Paul tried but Cameron was rushing him to leave since she didn’t want to be photographed together,” says the source.

Only two nights before, Diaz was spotted dirty dancing with pal Sean “Diddy” Combs at a party celebrating Prince’s new book 21 Nights. A few hours and a couple of Grey Goose cocktails later, the pair was seen with their arms locked around one another during Prince’s rendition of the Doobie Brother’s “Long Train Running.” They left the party together shortly before 3 a.m.

Diaz is comfortable with keeping her options open. “People think if you’re single, you are incomplete,” she said in the June issue of InStyle”, “No. The thing is, I don’t want to be in a relationship that makes me incomplete.”

Cameron Diaz Says Sex Is the Best!

Nearly 18 months after her break-up with Justin Timberlake after they were together four years, Cameron Diaz is loving her view of the dating scene.

“Men are the best!” the What Happens in Vegas star, 35, tells InStyle for its June issue. “Sex is the best!”

And when it comes to seducing her men, Diaz says she prefers an outfit that accentuates her natural resources: a pair of heels and nothing else.

“You don’t walk around naked?” she asks innocently.

Despite the April death of her father Emilio (the interview apparently took place before the sad event), Diaz – who once professed to thinking she’d be married and a mom by the time she was 22 – terms this a “good year,” adding, “Yeah, I’m happy.”

As for the prospective Mr. Right, “You don’t want the men who want the 25-year-olds,” she says with a laugh. “People think if you’re single, you are incomplete. No. The thing is, I don’t want to be in a relationship that makes me incomplete.

CAMERON DIAZ

Biography

Born on August 30, 1972, in Long Beach, California, Cameron Diaz grew up in the typical fashion of any all-American girl -- except, of course, for the fact that she was an exceptional beauty.

Cameron's dad, Emilio, a Cuban-American, was a foreman at a California oil company. Her mom, Billie, who's German, English and Native American, was an import-export broker. Cameron Diaz was raised in Long Beach with her sister Chimene.

As she was growing up, Cameron Diaz was, like most girls, listening to modern music and acting wild. And by her mid-teens, Cameron Diaz began attending Hollywood parties and staying out until the wee hours of the morning. It was during this party phase of her life that Cameron Diaz met a well-connected man who would change her whole life.

Jeff Dunas spotted Cameron Diaz while she was out one night and told her that he could sign her up with the Elite modeling agency. Although Cameron Diaz initially thought his proposition was somewhat fishy, she took his card and discussed it with her family and friends.

After leaving Long Beach and traveling around the world as a model, appearing in magazines like Mademoiselle and Seventeen, Cameron Diaz returned to California at 21 with thoughts of acting on her mind.

In 1994, she decided to audition for a small bit part in the movie The Mask, starring Jim Carrey. Although she didn't have any acting experience, Cameron Diaz was cast as the female lead in the film.

After receiving rave reviews for her performance in The Mask, Cameron Diaz set out to perfect her acting skills by steering clear of potential blockbuster hits and focusing on low-budget films such as The Last Supper (1999), Feeling Minnesota (1996), which costarred Keanu Reeves, and Head Above Water (1996), in which she played Harvey Keitel's wife.

Once Cameron Diaz felt that she reached her acting acme, she returned to big-budget films like My Best Friend's Wedding (1997), in which she starred opposite Julia Roberts. It was at this time that The National Association of Theatre Owners acknowledged her string of movie triumphs by naming her the ShoWest Female Star of Tomorrow.

That same year, she hit the silver screen once again in A Life Less Ordinary, starring opposite Ewan McGregor.

But the film that really turned Cameron Diaz into a household name was her iconic role in There's Something About Mary (1998), which costarred Ben Stiller and Matt Dillon. The film not only catapulted her stardom, but it also gave Cameron Diaz her first publicized relationship as she began dating Dillon; the relationship lasted for nearly three years.
