It was a romantic day of shopping, dining and partying in New York City for inseparable duo Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson.
The couple’s busy July 28 included a trip to Chanel in SoHo, a late lunch at Bar Pitti and a romantic dinner at Gemma Restaurant.
Holding hands and gazing into each other eyes, the couple dined in a cozy, candlelit corner table at Gemma late Monday evening. The two looked quite happy, sitting next to each other as they chatted and laughed in a dark corner of the popular restaurant alongside Ronson’s brother Mark and a male friend.
After Gemma, Lohan and Ronson continued the party at the Bowery Hotel’s patio bar. Wearing a sky blue T-shirt, white jeans and one of her trademark straw fedoras, Ronson doted on Lohan, often putting her arm around her and laughing with the actress while more friends joined the couple.
They left shortly after midnight, with Lohan toting a Chanel-quilted purse and Ronson following in close pursuit.

“Lindsay just feels safe with her,” socialite – and Lohan friend – Cory Kennedy said at Billabong’s 2nd Annual Design for Humanity Event Wednesday night in Hollywood. “I just feel like they have a very loyal and trustworthy relationship, which is really hard to come across in the world that Lindsay’s in. It’s a trust thing.”

The DJ has been Lohan’s constant companion during the past few weeks – they even enjoyed a recent family get-together with Ronson’s mom, Ann Dexter-Jones, and Lohan’s young sister Ali in New York City. The traveling duo also cozied up on Diddy’s yacht during the Cannes Film Festival.

On Wednesday night, Lohan showed up at a G-Star party in Beverly Hills to support Ronson, who was spinning. After spending some together-time in the DJ booth, they headed for Ronson’s next gig at the pre-party for a N.E.R.D. concert. (After Pharrell Williams’s set, the two sat close together on a black leather couch – then made their joint exit around midnight.)

A ‘Genuine’ Friendship
DJ Steve Aoki, a close friend of both Lohan and Ronson, said their bond is easy to understand.

“[Samantha] truly is a friend to her,” he explained. “She’s a very positive influence …. [Lindsay] sees that and sees a genuine, good friendship.”

“I think the most important thing in a relationship is, really, trust,” agreed Kennedy. “I feel like that’s what their relationship thrives on. I love the fact that they’re both really happy.”

Dina Lohan Says Lindsay Went to ER for Asthma

Lindsay Lohan went to the hospital on Thursday night because she was having an asthma attack, her mom said.

“She was losing oxygen. She couldn’t breathe,” Dina Lohan says about her 21-year-old daughter, whose emergency room trip with deejay Samantha Ronson was photographed. On Friday, the star’s rep claimed that she went to the hospital to visit a friend.

“She was afraid to go the hospital because [the paparazzi] were gonna write about it. She was sick,” the elder Lohan adds at an event for Project Cuddle. “If you were sick, and you’re mother couldn’t even take you to a hospital because paparazzi will fabricate some story, you know, it’s sad. It’s really sad.”

But Dina says Lindsay’s lucky to have Ronson by her side, telling PEOPLE, “Samantha is an angel.”

The show starts as Dina looks at Internet photos purportedly from a sex tape between Lindsay and Calum Best. “That doesn’t look anything like Lindsay!” she protests. “Look how blurred out that is!” The pictures turned out not be of Lindsay Lo, but the scene still dominated the show.

Among the highlights of the first night: 14-year-old Ali gushes about her older sister, “I’ve been following in Lindsay’s footsteps since I was young. Lindsay is my role model. I try to look like her, dress like her - everything!” Critics will slam Dina Lohan for that line, following in the footsteps of a three time rehabber with two DUI’s?

Lindsay Lohan Denies Lesbian Relationship

Lindsay Lohan has once again been forced to deny she is a lesbian after she was photographed apparently kissing her close friend Samantha Ronson.

The duo - who have kept gossips guessing about the nature of their relationship for the last six months - were seen repeatedly embracing and cuddling up to one another at a party on rapper Sean 'Diddy' Combs' yacht in Cannes, France during the early hours of Friday morning.

A source tells Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper, "Lindsay and Sam may insist they're just good friends - but there's no denying their chemistry. They were holding hands quite openly and Sam was stroking Lindsay's wrist really affectionately."


"After partying on the main deck, they went downstairs to the chill-out floor. Escorted by five security men - who formed a 'do not disturb' ring around them - it looked like they were snogging (kissing) each other's faces off."

But Leslie Sloane, the actress' spokesperson, has refuted claims the pair's relationship is more than platonic, telling CelebTV.com: "They are close friends."

Inseparable duo Lindsay Lohan and deejay BFF Samantha Ronson turned heads Thursday during a party on Diddy’s yacht in Cannes.

The pair stuck together all night, holding hands and being affectionate. While the two say they’re just friends, they’re frequent travel and party companions – with Lohan, 21, joining Ronson for many of her deejay sets.

Mom Dina Lohan also recently talked about Ronson, calling her “a sweetheart.”

“She’s great – and she’s the best spinner around,” Lohan says. And while their daughters are pals, so is Dina and Ronson’s mother, writer Ann Dexter-Jones: “I’m friends with her mom,” Lohan says. “She’s raised some extremely talented kids. It’s a talented family.”

The fur is still flying in the case of Lindsay Lohan and the missing mink coat: Now the actress has been slapped with a lawsuit accusing her of taking the fur without permission.

Masha Markova, 22, claims that the Mean Girls star took her $12,000 golden sheared mink coat when they were both at the New York City nightclub 1Oak in January, the Associated Press reports, citing papers filed in Manhattan’s state Supreme Court.

Markova, a New York college student, says she was flipping through a magazine and found a photo of Lohan wearing her coat. “It was my coat. It was no doubt,” she told the New York Post.

The coat reportedly was returned to her by the club in February.

There was no immediate comment from Lohan’s reps on the lawsuit.

Lindsay Lohan Teams Up With Snoop Dogg

Lindsay Lohan is teaming up with Snoop Dogg in a bid to re-launch her pop career.

The ‘What’s My Name’ rapper, real name Cordozar Calvin Broadus, Jr., has reportedly penned a song for the Mean Girls star and insiders reckon it sounds “amazing”.

Lohan’s management have also managed to rope in Timbaland and Pharrell Williams to help produce more tracks on the album, which will be released on the prestigious Motown Records label.

Lohan’s last album, A Little More Personal, got to number 20 in the American Billboard charts in 2005 — but bombed fairly quickly, receiving mixed reviews.

Lindsay Lohan Begins Shooting Ugly Betty

Lindsay Lohan began shooting her spot on ABC’s Ugly Betty on Saturday, her rep says.

She was so excited to shoot, “Lindsay arrived on set 45 minutes early.”

“Lindsay and America [Ferrera] really hit it off!”

Variety reports she’ll play a down-on-her-luck old high school pal of Betty.

Lohan’s first episode airs on the May 22 season finale.

Her rep says the actress will also appear in multiple episodes of the ABC hit.

Lohan is also set to star in the forthcoming film Manson Girls as one of the murderer’s cult followers.

Lindsay Morgan Lohan was born in New York City on July 2, 1986. Her mother Dina is a former Radio City "Rockette" while her father Michael was a long-time Wall Street trader before he struck it rich with a family pasta business. He has now redirected his energies into film development and producing.

Along with her three younger siblings, Michael, Aliana and Dakota, Lindsay Lohan was raised in Long Island. Lindsay was such a natural beauty that she began modeling at the age of 3. In fact, she was the first redheaded child ever signed by the renowned Ford Modeling Agency.

But Lindsay Lohan wasn't just a pretty child; she was also talented. Capitalizing on her flair for performing, she was cast in over 60 TV commercials for companies such as Abercrombie & Fitch, Wendy's, the Gap, Pizza Hut, Calvin Klein, and Jell-O, in which she shared the screen with Bill Cosby.

When she was 7, Lindsay Lohan was required to dress up as garbage for a Halloween skit on the Late Show with David Letterman called "Things You Find on the Bottom of the Subway." It was her first real acting job.

There was a six-month casting search and in January 1997, Lindsay Lohan got a phone call from director Nancy Meyers to announce that she had received the role that Hayley Mills made popular in the early '60s.

In 2000, Bette Midler was slated to star in a new sitcom called Bette, and Lindsay Lohan was cast as her daughter, Rose. But once the pilot was shot, the producers decided to move the production from New York to Los Angeles. Wanting to stay in New York, Lindsay left the sitcom. The show moved to California, actress Marina Malota replaced Lindsay Lohan and 16 episodes later, Bette was canceled.

This left Lindsay Lohan with some free time and she spent it shooting the Disney Channel Original Movie of the Month, Get a Clue (2002), in which she played a snooty school gossip columnist out to discover what happened to a missing teacher. After shooting, she took a short break from acting.
