Paris Hilton Launces Hair Extension Line

Paris Hilton making her way into the hair extension industry as she was present at Loft and Garden in Rockefeller Center recently to promote her own line of hair extensions, which is set to be sold in Sally Beauty Supply stores. The hair extension line is called Clipin-Go by Paris Hilton, and according to Sally Beauty Supply President Mike Spinozzi, this is just the beginning for Paris and Sally.

Paris Hilton Sports a New Ring from Benji

Always one to keep the public talking, Paris_Hilton showed up to talk about her new hair extension line with Sally Beauty Supply wearing a notable new accessory: a two-banded diamond ring on that finger.

Asked if the baubles were an engagement ring from boyfriend Benji Madden, Hilton said, “No, it’s just a present. He’s sweet.”

Still, the duo have already discussed marriage. “We want to stay together forever,” she said Thursday. “I wouldn’t do a Vegas [wedding]. I don’t know where or when but I do want it to be romantic.”

Betting that Nicole_Richie and Joel Madden will beat them to the altar, Hilton doesn’t mind following in her best friend’s footsteps another way, as well. “Nicole is our first friend to have a baby … Seeing Harlow, it really makes me want one. I’ve always wanted to have a baby.”

Until then, she’s content on practicing her mommy skills on Harlow. “I’m definitely ‘Aunt Paris.’ ” As for Benji? “He’ll babysit. I can tell he’s gonna be an incredible father. He loves babies.”

Benji Changed My Life in Every Way
With memories of dancing on tables in clubs still fresh in her mind, Hilton, 26, acknowledges how much she has grown since she started dating the Good Charlotte rocker four months ago.

“When I was younger I loved to go out, but now that I’m in a really great relationship it’s so much more fun to stay at home,” she says, “We don’t really like to go out. We have game night, friends come over and play Monopoly. It’s chill.” She also loves pampering her man with some homemade food. “I love to cook for him, I cook great lasagna.”

“I’ve grown up a lot. I’m at peace,” she added. “He’s changed my life in every way. I’m happy.”

Laughing about her beau’s rocker look, she says her she follows some words of advice from her dad to look past it. “My dad said you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover,” she said. “He doesn’t act at all like someone who has tattoos everywhere! I love him so much that I don’t pay attention. I don’t even look at the tattoos anymore.”

Paris Hilton was born on February 17th, 1981, to Rick and Kathy Hilton, making her the great-granddaughter of Conrad Hilton, founder of the Hilton hotels and source of the family fortune -- estimated at $300 million. Her grandfather, Conrad "Nicky" Hilton, Jr., also brought some notoriety to the family, as he was the first of Elizabeth Taylor's many ex-husbands. Paris' younger sister, Nicky (born in 1983), shares the throne as co-heiress of the Hilton empire.

Because she grew up in Manhattan's ritzy Waldorf-Astoria, the family's New York home, as well as other Hilton digs in Beverly Hills and the Hamptons, Paris didn't yearn for much. She first made a name for herself as a model, and appeared in shows for designers such as Marc Bouwer and Catherine Malandrino, and she later completed an ad campaign for Iceberg, an Italian label. What better way to become famous than to be seen in the tabloids? Paris Hilton became the center of attention because of her relationships -- real or imagined by the paparazzi -- with some of Hollywood's hottest young stars including Leonardo DiCaprio, Terminator 2's Edward Furlong and boxer Oscar de la Hoya. Paris was linked with actor and Tommy Hilfiger model, Jason Shaw (to whom she was engaged to), Sum 41 lead singer Derek Whibley and Nick Carter of the Backstreet Boys as well. Other appearances included a role as a strung-out supermodel in the film short QIK2JDG, The Hillz (co-starring boyfriend Jason Shaw), Wonderland, and the big-screen adaptation of the Dr. Seuss classic, The Cat in the Hat. She also starred in the FOX reality show The Simple Life with gal pal Nicole Ritchie, which featured the two Hollywood starlets living on a farm.

She will visit Rwanda in November 2007 as part of a post-jail promise to spread awareness on the country.
